Stunning hotel and stunning grounds. We stayed in the Manor House four poster suite which was huge, spacious with an amazing bathroom. Beautiful bedroom. Breakfast was great. Massage was relaxing. Staff were very friendly. Lovely afternoon tea. Nice swimming pool that my baby enjoyed a lot. We really enjoyed our stay.

The location is brilliant and I love the yew garden. The bright sunny weather helped, of course. The grounds and the house are kept in excellent condition. Nothing too fancy, and peaceful and quiet overall appealed to me.

We loved our stay! Such a gorgeous hotel and the staff were so, so lovely. We were unexpectedly given a room upgrade to a suite which was amazing as it included a roll top bath! We ordered snacks and drinks from the bar which were lovely quality and just overall we had an amazing, amazing time. We will definitely be returning!

Good selection of choice for breakfast. The pool/spa area was lovely and clean. Topiary garden well kept even though it was winter. Staff were friendly and the open fires gave an inviting and cosy atmosphere.

A lovely historic building in a beautiful setting. Our room was in the main building and overlooked the picturesque grounds. It was charming and very comfortable. The guest information folder contained interesting information about the history of this fascinating place. The many original period features and cosy fireplaces enhance the ambiance of the place. The staff were pleasant and helpful. We also enjoyed using the Spa facilities - the lovely pool and the steam room & sauna - which are available to hotel guests. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant and an excellent breakfast. All in all, we very much enjoyed our stay.

Great location. Lovely building and facilities inside. Thought it was a bit expensive to charge £5 to bring a drink to the room. Breakfast was absolutely lovely however there was a man called Fayzur who was speaking down to many of the staff members right infront of all of the guests which we found really uncomfortable. This should be done in private, if at all, and one of the staff members was made visibly upset. We left the breakfast service earlier than we would have because of this. Other than this, we can’t fault it really and we will definitely be back!

This was a beautiful stately and perfectly appointed place to stay. We consider our accommodation choices carefully when choosing them as they contribute to our overall travel experience. This property was easily a 10 out of 10 on all levels. The staff were helpful. The room was fantastic. The bed was comfortable. The food was delicious. It was easy to park our car. The grounds were perfectly kept and the manner itself had been kept in pristine condition. I will also add that the staff were very helpful and very polite. I would recommend this property to anyone who considers their accommodation as part of their journey.

Fantastic choice at breakfast, sat in a lovely panelled dining room. The room was nice and comfortable, lovely clean sheets and towels. Toiletries included in the bathroom. The building is stunning, lots of history and beautiful grounds. The fires in the panelled areas made it very cosy.
